A. Well, I had a conversation with'Mr. Bommer yesterday. Yes, yesterday. And he told me that there was perhaps some evidence indicating that the Bronco had hit the snowbank prior to the collision, a glancing blow. I didn't know that at the time and didn't know it until yesterday. It just tends to colaborate some of the things I say here, though, in terms of direction of rotation of the vehicle and the like.
Q. Well. okay. What else was discussed in that conversation with Mr. Bommer?
A. We were discussing basically what I found in my report.
Q. He was asking you about your report?
A. Well, that in general. He didn't take it through step by step but just, you know, an overall conversation concerning what the results of my report was, and so shared things like that and then some personal things not having to do with the case. MR. BOMMER: Air Force Academy. DEPONENT: Yes.
Q. (BY MR. WOLF) when did you go to the accident scene to examine the accident scene?
A. It would have been shortly after I was contacted by the county attorney's office. I don't remember offhand the day, but it would have been after December 14th and before December 17th.
Q. All right. Well, let's get to your findings, which is the bottom of page 1.
A. Okay.
Q. You state that the collision occurred in Yearsley's lane of travel.
A. Yes.
Q. Do you have any evidence of this other than the area of impact noted on the Baldwin accident report in which he describes gouge marks and fluid, liquid marks?
A. Well, he pointed out to me -- also when we went out to the scene, he pointed out to me where he believed the area of impact was, and it was in Yearsley's lane of travel. And I didn't. see any other evidence to suggest that the point of impact was anyplace else.
Q. That was my question. You noted here, number 1, the collision occurred in Yearsley's lane of travel and you note the transmission fluid and gouge marks.
A. Yes.
Q, Any other evidence --
A. No.
